File Shredder Tab

This is a very powerful tool. With several ways of shredding data on your computer before it erases it.

File List: In this section you can locate files you'd like to delete. Click Add to list to find all files you'd like to delete. Clear List will reset the list to blank with no effect. Shred Listed Files will securely delete your files which keeps them from being recovered by standard undelete programs.

After you have a list of files you would like to shred. Highlight one of the files by clicking on it (this file will show up in the Selected FileName Box. Now go down to Controls.

 

Options Settings

By click Options on the toolbar then Settings you will get another box that will pop up. Shown Below

 

Launch File Sniper at startup: During startup will cause File Sniper to load when you start up your computer. If you would like for File Sniper to do that just click the box and then the OK button.

Auto Update: If you would like File Sniper to anonymously check for updates when it launches then check this box. The program will automatically check for updates every time it launches.

Caution you may need to click yes twice when shutting down. If you leave your computer while shutting down and do have things selected to be cleaned in the Windows Privacy Tab. Then you may come back to a windows prompt asking you if you would like to end take because File Sniper is still working. Just click cancel and then Yes for anything waiting for you to answer and your computer will then shut down.

Updates

If you choose not to automatically check for updates, you can go to Updates then click Check for Updates at any time. This may
